Job Description :
- Synthesize business goals, marketing and campaign plans to create content strategy
- Build and manage cross-functional relationships needed to link people, process and technologies that contribute to strategic content planning, execution and measurement
- Work across functions and levels from individual contributors to key executives to ensure comprehensive inputs to strategic content planning
- Evangelize and educate relevant teams on audience-centric content strategy best practices as well as the corporate brand and content governance
- Aggregate and maintain inputs for content strategies, including audience insights, personas, messaging, competitive information and feedback from content supply chain contributors and users
- Understand best practices and requirements for supporting inbound and outbound content distribution channels
- Identify and recommend opportunities for content reuse
- Perform strategic mapping of content to audience journeys and ongoing journey gap analysis of the content inventory and its ability to support content strategy and campaign requirements
- Understand and leverage industry trends, the corporate brand and solution value propositions to ensure content quality and relevance in content creation
- Participate in a cross-functional content council to ensure programmatic content strategy representation
- Ensure programmatic content is represented in the organizations universal content taxonomy
- Conduct tracking, reporting and investment analysis deriving insights from content measurement that inform program planning
- Contribute to search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives with an understanding of how to integrate keyword strategy into overall content planning for programs and campaigns
- Provide operational support for content strategy and creation, engaging cross functional participants and managing the content calendar, content briefs, workflow and deadlines
- Contribute to writing and editing assets in support of the content plan and in the context of messaging, brand and editorial guidelines
- Support related sales enablement content needs, including managing content access and usage measurement
- Manage, contribute to and publish to social media channels
Responsibilities for PR :
- Draft press releases, pitches, case studies, white papers, and media summaries
- Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts
- Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner
- Pitch story ideas and content to media
- Ensure all communication is cohesive with the brand image
- Track and analyze media coverage to inform future campaigns
- Measure PR program impacts using regular reporting
- Organize, schedule, and prepare key leaders for press interviews
Requirements :
- Bachelors/Master's degree in business, English, journalism. Marketing degree is a plus.
- Three to five years of corporate marketing, content marketing and/or public relations/ advertising agency experience
- Related market/industry experience is desirable
- Cross-functional and multi-phased, complex project management skills
- Journalism, copywriting or publishing, ideally with a digital focus
- Demonstrated experience in writing and editing
- Excellent communicator, including keen listening skills
- Creative and innovative can see the story in information
- Strong business acumen
- Fast learner, can understand new technologies and changes to processes
- Champions buyers, customers, users, sales and media
- Flexible and able to shift strategies and tactics when required
- Detail-oriented, well organized, efficient with time management
Skills :
- Content lifecycle management and/ or complex project management
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and consensus-building skills can work with cross-functional teams including upstream content contributors and downstream content activators
- Can map content to the journey of the buyer or other audience persona journey and then work with media to place the content
- Comfortable presenting plans and results to cross- functional team members, including management
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills
- Understands SEO best practices, keyword research and optimization
- Familiarity with variety of inbound/outbound digital marketing, as well as paid, earned and owned channels
- Can manage content audit process and inventory maintenance, taxonomy management, content tagging and metadata management
- Strong ability to use content measurement tools to extract actionable data and conduct analysis
- Can handle Web publishing and content management and inventory tools
- Can use Web analytics tools and perform basic data analysis
- Project management and interviewing skills
- Strong working knowledge of a variety of public relations programs
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and execute successful public relations campaigns
