About the practice : Pharmaceuticals - Operations is one of the largest practices for the India office. We serve top-tier clients on a broad range of Operations topics. We are looking for a senior executive to lead cost excellence projects and develop innovative solutions to deliver these programs to our clients.

Job Description:

1. Senior-executive with 7+ years of experience in driving cost excellence programs with automotive/consumer/pharma companies. The candidate is required to have a deep understanding of cost excellence topics, with knowledge of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing, procurement, and other functions.

2. Experience: 10-15 years overall work experience; 7+ years in driving cost excellence programs. Previous experience with manufacturing and procurement teams in the automotive, consumer or pharmaceutical sectors is ideal. Experience in product / digital solution development in addition to the above is preferred.

3. Ideal Profile: Operations leader from marquee companies in automotive/ pharmaceutical/ consumer sectors. Consulting experience in manufacturing / procurement/ operational excellence / cost excellence can also be considered.

Skills/ capabilities:

Technical skills:

- Deep understanding of all aspects of cost excellence. These can include:

- Best practices for cost optimization in procurement and manufacturing

- Continuous improvement initiatives/ Operations excellence

- Advising clients/business unit leaders on cost excellence topics

- Developing and delivering solutions to diagnose, design or implement cost excellence programs

Managerial skills :

- Leading teams across critical time-bound projects/ team working; Leading and mentoring people; Communication to top management and board executives

Education : Engineering degree from top tier institute is required.
