Spark Capital - Relationship Manager - Sales - Private Wealth Management & Equity (8-20 yrs)

Role:

A. Client & Revenue Acquisition:

Being a start-up, RMs will be required to bring in revenue-earning clients to the Family Office Business

B. Client Advisory:

- This business will also advice clients on investing in third-party products wherever they are found suitable as also cost-effective for clients.

- RMs will provide clients advise based mostly on FO Research, offer products that suit individual client needs.

C. Client Servicing:

Maintain oversight on client portfolios and be the pivotal service point for clients. This would require regular meetings as also other types of interactions with clients, drawing on FO resources to ensure client requirements (advice, execution, reporting, reviews, operations, etc.) are met as per mandates signed up and maintaining proper client interaction records on CRM and other such systems to ensure client servicing continuity in all circumstances.

D. Refer other Spark Divisions to Clients & Client to other Spark Divisions: Family office business believes clients that chose to deal with FO would expect to use all of Spark's capabilities related to the capital markets. Referring clients to other Spark divisions (IB, FIA, IE) and vice-versa would therefore be essential in fulfilling all client mandates.

E. Contribute in fine-tuning Family Office research: RMs will be called upon to provide Inputs to FO Research on client needs to fine-tune research.

Candidate Profile :

A. Have a knowledge-driven client servicing mindset over sheer relationship-driven sales approach

B. Passion for "Investing" and loves to "devour" research of all kinds

C. Comes from a background that lends easily to having access to wealthy families - worked with consultancies, audit firms, investment banks, corporate banks or wealth management firms in a role that involved dealing closely with CXOs and business owners.

D. Good communication skills - speak and write - ideally move than 2 Indian languages

E. Entrepreneurial & Team Player - loves the challenge (and the fun-ride) in building a high-class multi-family office over the next 5-7 years.

F. Hunger to go beyond addressing client investment needs and to try and match client needs in capital raising or business expansion with Spark's IB or IE or FIA divisions' capabilities
