Our offerings are backed with a robust Investment Policy Framework which is backed by best-in-class research and superior execution to pick future winners well ahead of our competition. https://portal.sparkadvisors.in/about-us Position: Payroll & Statutory Compliance Specialist Location: Mumbai, Andheri East Responsibilities: - Complete responsibility and ownership of end-to-end monthly payroll process and ensure 100% accuracy - Handle coordination with payroll vendor and thoroughly check payroll data once received from the vendor - Resolution of Employee queries in a time bound manner - Follow & adhere to all legal & statutory Compliances (Tax, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF & Minimum wages) - Handle filing of necessary returns as applicable to the organization - Manage employee benefits program - Ensure statutory remittances to the concerned Authorities as per the calendar - Vendor engagement & management for payroll and statutory compliances - Check & update monthly tax calculations, periodic investment declarations and investment proofs - Ensure 100% accuracy of monthly payroll & manage payroll changes in case of variable payouts and salary revisions - Compute Full & Final Settlement and Gratuity for resigned employees - Maintain data and keep a track of employee reimbursements which forms part of CTC - Responsible for various MIS reports like (Payroll MIS, Head count, attrition, wage cost etc.) - Coordinate with internal departments such as Finance & Secretarial to address their requirements & resolve discrepancies, if any. - Recommend improvements to existing SOPs/methods and ensure implementation of necessary changes Qualification: Graduate / MBA Person Specifications: - 8-10 years of experience in handling payroll & statutory compliances - Experience in implementing HRIS and payroll tools - Attention to detail - Keep abreast of and ensure compliance with any changes in statutory & government regulations - Result orientation - Analytical Acumen - Process management - Communication Skills
