Job Description: Roles and responsibilities: - Understand decision-making needs of business functions (Product, Marketing, Sales, etc.) - Evaluate data required for decisions, identify sources of appropriate data, own up to the sanity/accuracy of available data, and ensure transformations for the right decision making. - Understand the internal processes and define metrics which need to be tracked for improvement and help in decision making. - Monitor & highlight the health of the business by developing metric dashboards to track success & performance metrics for business functions. - Define metrics through the business processes for clear measurability and to deep-dive into processes to identify areas for improvements. - Identify opportunities for improvement in product & process flows through exploratory analysis. Qualification: - 1+ years of experience in business analysis. - Hands-on experience on SQL and any BI platform (Tableau, PowerBI etc) - Conceptual understanding of basic statistical concepts (Sampling, Distributions, Central tendency, Hypothesis testing etc) - Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights. - Ability to identify relevant data to solve business problems and (in)validate the hypothesis. - Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders - Experience with basic exploratory data analysis and insight generation
