Soptle is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. As a key member of our executive team, the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy, ensuring sound financial management, and contributing to Soptle's growth and success. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in the fintech or financial services sector.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with Soptle's business goals and objectives.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support informed decision-making and resource allocation.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential threats to the company's financial stability.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Investor Relations: Maintain relationships with investors, providing transparent and accurate financial updates, and supporting fundraising efforts.
- Capital Management: Optimize capital structure and manage the allocation of financial resources efficiently.
- Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Evaluate and execute strategic financial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and liquidity, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
- Technology & Automation: Leverage financial technology and automation tools to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 10-15 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, with a track record of success in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and forecasting.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with financial technology and data analytics tools is a plus.
