Sony Pictures Networks - Lead - Program Management - SonyLIV OTT Platform (12-17 yrs)
Sony Pictures Networks India is seeking an experienced Lead Program Management. The incumbent will be responsible for heading program management for SonyLIV OTT platform.
POSITION SPECIFICATION:- Education B.E./B.Tech, MCA or Equivalent Computer Degree Experience 12-15 years with Experience in Project Management, PMP/Scrum certication

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Project Management :
- Drive projects end to end from requirement gathering to delivery on SonyLIV platform (including core platform, AVOD / SVOD projects, new solution /technology implementation, application upgradation, IT operations, business / IT process transformation, analytics reporting, digital automation, and routine change management).
- Collaborate with teams to prioritize initiatives, track progress ensure a consistent high-bar on excellence and project delivery.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel priority projects.
Program Management :
- Working cross-functionally with key internal and external stakeholders like business & business partners, product managers, engineering, UAT team to initiate and manage programs end to end.
- Maintain the inter-dependency of all deliveries and ensure it is delivered accordingly.
- Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
- Ensure IT security and compliance in all deliverables.
- Own the entire communication of project status and share it internally with all stakeholders. Proactively manage changes to project scope, team and device contingency plans.
- Capacity planning along with engineering team for projects in advance.
- Release planning along with release managers and engineering team.
Knowledge Management :
- Share project status reports within the organization on regular intervals.
- Maintain project document repository.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and sub-contractors, and inuence team to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Implement industry best practices and innovation to improve the overall system delivery process.
Managing team performance :
- Track team performance at an overall and individual level and provide support/ guidance wherever required to ensure achievement of plans
- Manage eective resource allocation, enhance the capability quotient of team members and drive higher team engagement
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:-
- Experience with Systems Development Lifecycle and Project Management Methodologies, specifically Agile/Scrum, in addition to Waterfall.
- Experience with the Microsoft Oce suite of applications (i.e., MS Project, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.) PMP/Scrum certication and knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Experience in digital media software and/or gaming industry is desired.
- Experience in developing and deploying project best practices, policies, procedures, and processes. Ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments.
- Solid leadership and change management skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to defuse tension among and between project teams, should it arise.
- Advanced interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Ability to eectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
