Position Overview :

The position will be responsible and owing,material scheduling based on production plan and managing dispatches based on sales schedule,inventory in transit and invetory in 3PL warehouses. The key performance to manage will be On-Time in Full (OTIF) for customers,cost,time & inventory

Job Description:

1. Coordinate with Marketing and Prepare the Customer Production Plan by ensuring the effective translation of the sales forecast into demand forecast for use in production planning, capacity planning, and inventory planning

2. Planning the preparing the raw material procurement budget

3. Planning the inbound as well as outbound Logistics for efficient material flow by introducing the KANBAN System to avoid any line stoppage due to non-availability of the material

4. Efficient coordination between the commercial and production to cater the customer demand

5. Implement an effective system to evaluate the delivery performance of the suppliers

6. Implement the weekly-lot manufacturing system to reduce the inventory of the finished goods & improve turns

7. Implement traceability system with integration with SAP for effective Material movement and control

8. Export Logistic Handling

9. Good Experience in transcontinental ocean freight management & logistics

10. Experience in handling 3PL warehouse in Europe/US/China . Manage inventory from delivery & cost perspective

11. Have experience in material planning and execution in auto components.

12.Has knowledge of transportation and logistics both within country and outside India, both Ocean & Air Freights.

13. Having experience in handling 3rd party logistics ware houses in India & outside India

14. Experience and conversant in International trade and custom processes & rules

15.Expereince of working with logistics companies on cost & time

16. Knowledge in packaging & container freight

17. Responsible for making delivery schedule to suppliers based on production plan using MRP, taking into account inventory turns and targets, transportation cost

18.Negotiation with freight forwards to get the best cost

19.Plan & schedule dispatches based on sales & customer schedules taking into account the material in transit and in warehouses

20. Manage 3PL inventory both for cost and to meet 100% OTIF

21. Inventory management to reduce cost

22. Design packaging to optimize logistic cost

Essentials :

1. B Com, M Com or Material Management Graduate

3. PG Diploma or MBA in International trade will be added advantage

4. Having extensive experience in export

Desirables :

1. Knowledge of SAP

2. Presentation Skill

3. Handle function independently
