Role Type: Contract Job Description: - Solytics is seeking a AML analytics professionals with expertise in quantitative, advanced statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques as they pertain to AML models. - The roles would require work work on building, tuning, validating AML models and transaction monitoring systems/name screening solutions to detect potential financial crime effectively. Responsibilities: As a senior AML analytics professional, you will be required to cover the following: - Develop/validate variety of AML models in compliance with global regulatory requirements as well as satisfying business needs, complying to internal model development and validation standards. - Perform AML scenario threshold tuning and optimization - Replicating and modifying scenarios . - Building and validating Customer risk rating and customer segmentation . - Building models and performing analytics for Alert prioritization, identification of false positives, and alert hibernation, Network/Link analysis . - Deliver high quality client services, including work products, within expected timeframe Key Skills : - Strong knowledge of AML or fraud analytics with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial crime analytics - Minimum 2 years of experience in Development or Validation of AML models such as transaction monitoring, threshold analysis/tuning, wire transfer monitoring, chain analysis, customer risk rating models and related system validations - Strong understanding of regional and global AML regulations - Exposure to any of industry standard vendor tools and Transaction monitoring systems such as Mantas, Actimize-SAM, Fircosoft, World check Net Reveal etc. SAS AML, Norkom - Rich experience in threshold tuning & optimization is a must. - Well versed with threshold tuning methodologies & implementation - Exposure to ATL/BTL ; Very strong experience in SAS, R, python and SQL programming. - Strong expertise in statistical and Machine Learning modelling for AML models. - Analytical/numerical expertise demonstrated by cutting edge quantitative/ statistical research and analytical projects - The candidate should have attention to detail, and excellent analytical, problem solving, time management skills - Willingness and commitment to walk extra mile to achieve client delight and ensure high quality output delivery within stringent timelines - Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and good at creating and delivering impactful presentations - Ability to manage own assignment independently and guide the junior team members. - Ability to work with colleagues/clients located globally, and client.
