Solutioning Manager - Role Based Training Team - Education (6-10 yrs)

BASIC FUNCTION

This position is for the Role Based Training (RBT) team at Jigsaw Academy (a part of Manipal Global Education Services ). The team designs and delivers bespoke training interventions and learning programs for corporate clients tailored to suit the upskilling needs of specific job roles. The team also develops role-based training programs anticipating near-future upskilling needs of the IT/ITeS industry.

This team is directly headed by the Chief Academic Officer, and you'll be closely working with industry experts.

Your Role

1. You will be expected to understand the specific learning outcomes expected by the client. Therefore, a large part of the role includes working closely with representatives of the client organization.

2. Design the program to exactly achieve those outcomes. Typically, this is done in a consultative manner.

3. While your primary responsibility is academic and technical in nature, you will have to work closely with the delivery operations team to ensure an excellent learning experience for our students.

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design

- Develop pre-sales collateral - product notes, technical proposal, learning program course structures etc.

- Understand the proposal / presentation objectives and determine the scope of work.

- Source information from relevant internal sources, core team, portals, etc. collating and analysing information logically and producing high quality outputs by deploying standard templates in a timely manner

- Create the document structure as per the RFP/ proposal requirement and discuss with senior team members

- Create and update standard decks, by scenario, that highlight the best slides that can be leveraged in future presentations, RFx responses, pitchbooks, capability decks etc.

- Ensure that presentations / proposals look professional and attractive to the end client and are developed within stated timelines

- Provide technical content for thought leadership activities - by writing and posting relevant academic articles, blogs and liaise with experts on delivery of specified topics for targeted audience (round table/panel discussion/webinars/info sessions)

- Design assessments for learners to be conducted at various stages of learning - pre and post; formative and summative.

- Research-explore-drive-maintain relationships with communities of practice, special interest groups, associations and institutions.

- Ensure relevance of academic content including case studies, simulations, software versions for various modules in the program by working with faculty and publishing houses

Delivery

- Develop/assist SME in developing courseware - content / slides / quizzes / assignments etc.

- Ensure technical excellence.

- Ensure the content is easy to understand and is user friendly.

- Prepare content for assessments and interviews; help in grading/assessments both quantitative and qualitative assessments on the LMS and writing summary of assessments post the qualitative rounds of group discussion/interview.

- Drive and manage alumni relationships by way of alumni clubs and activities for alumni engagement.

- Drive and manage student engagement through the life cycle from acquisition to alumni.

- Program manage account escalations

- Personally, conduct training sessions depending on expertise.

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Internal: Peers from Solution design team, delivery & operations team, Technical SMEs, HOP, Chief Academic Officer

External: Client L&D, Client BU Department Heads, Consultant SMEs

PROFILE REQUIRED

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Qualification

- Required: BE / B.Tech from a reputed college. Desirable: M.Tech. or MBA

- Preferable: certifications on curriculum design, pedagogical concepts, or on learning models.

Experience

- 5+ years of prior experience - Software Design & Development or Software Design or Technology evaluation or Technical Training

- Prior experience in pre-sales/technical proposal writing etc. is desirable

- B2B client facing experience is desirable

Has worked in environments that require

- excellent written and verbal communication skills

- detail orientation and an analytical bent of mind

- operating in a multi-tasking environment with the need to adjust priorities on-the-fly

- being able to deliver without supervision whilst working as part of a team

- high problem-solving skills: ability to drive through to an outcome in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity

- Graduate/Postgraduate - MBA (IT or Analytics Knowledge will be preferred)

- 6-8 years relevant work experience

- Previous successful B2B sales experience
