Solution Services Manager - Product Management & Business Building
Hiring for a global consulting firm :
You will join an expanding team which implements flagship products at the client organizations. Flagship products are multi-million dollar products which complement their consulting offerings. You will join the Software delivery team to manage the implementation and support of the products at the clients'.
Primary responsibilities include :
- Software delivery and support management across multiple products, geographies, and clients
- Ownership of SLA, stakeholder, quality and budget management
- Team management including coaching/mentoring, appraisals and career development
- Drive innovation, automation, and excellence in specialty areas of analytics, business intelligence, and technology
- Drive excellence in Infrastructure Management and Product Support
- Up to 10% time commitment towards travel
Service Management :
- Thought partner with Leadership/management towards setting up and maintaining world-class service operations
- Understands service and infrastructure management and drives innovation, high standards of quality and supporting processes in areas of expertise
- Support product delivery across multiple client organizations
- Owns delivery management including capacity planning & forecasting, operational budgeting, performance tracking, and reporting
- Accountable for data accuracy, timeliness, and overall quality
- Expand the range of services offered as per business and client requirement
Stakeholder management :
- Thought partner to the leadership towards scoping of requirements, problem-solving and recommending best solutions
- Ability to influence global stakeholders
- Ability to drive change through collaboration with several functional teams and varying stakeholder levels
People Management :
- Hands-on experience in managing delivery teams, and covering all facets of people management/employee life cycle from hire to retire including forecasting, recruitment, onboarding, appraisals, learning and development, career progression and off-boarding.
- Appraises team members' performances and offer continuous, realistic and constructive feedback to team members and ensure team members feel supported at all times
- Periodically conduct learning needs identification exercises and work with necessary teams to seek support on upskilling and cross-skilling the talent pool
- Able to adapt to best practices in new environments and evangelize the company's policies on members
- Create a conducive environment for team members to be able to sustain the values and culture

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) :
- Masters/Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer science, or related field
- Total Work experience of 12-14 years
- At least 8 years of project delivery and/or support experience
- Product infrastructure management including but not limited to SQL Server, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, etc.
- Has built and sustained technical delivery team/s.
- Good understanding of executive dashboards and enabling technologies
- Global exposure, program management, people management, and business operations
- Proven experience in managing a team of at least 10+ cross-functional members in a geographically dispersed setup
- Thorough understanding of managing people processes, culture, and values in a large scale consulting/technology set up
- Experienced in performance evaluation and change management principles
