Solution Lead - Presales/RFP/RFI - Media & Entertainment Domain (10-15 yrs)
Must have strong experience in the following areas:-
Solution : Presales, RFP, RFI
Delivery
Client facing
Strong exposure in Media and entertainment domain. Primarily into Cable/ Broadcasting / Publishing domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate should have worked in the Cable, Education, Publication, Media & Entertainment industry as a Delivery/project Manager or Techno-functional SME in presales/Solutioning role
- Expertise in IT managed services solutions for Custom Applications/platforms, Infrastructure management services, strong understanding of services delivery model, Organization service levels definition and management
- Understanding of Open source technology stack or Microsoft technologies and domain platforms
- Strong understanding and experience of complex Knowledge Transitions execution, creating Resource models, Integrated service delivery frameworks and Commercial models
- Strong understanding and background of RFP/RFI process and must be able to manage large and complex bids working in a matrix environment.
- Responsible for leading the Proposal response to Techno-Commercial Proposals (RFPs) for Media & Entertainment clients
- Must have led / been involved in large enterprise wide proposal responses.
- Interfaces with competency centers and Delivery organization for complex/large bids
- Will be required to engage with global TechM clients at business and technical level, understanding their Business/technical solution requirements, translating them to technology solutions, and presenting technical solutions to the clients
- Keep self and team updated on latest Media & Entertainment new technologies/platform and market trends
- Creating/Presenting new service offerings and solutions, meetings with potential and current customers for upsell
- New solution framework ideation, build POC through help of technology, domain, process SMEs and helping the technical team during the solution framework/PoC development with enhanced understanding of the requirements, Tools and technologies.
- Experience of creating Industry Reference architecture and Domain/technology whitepapers will be added advantage
- Involved in customer assessments, portfolio analysis of technology landscape, defining problem statements, Account Planning with help of Sales and account teams
- Strong experience of leading Customer visits/management, representing Service/Solution offerings in front of the customers
- Capability to defend proposal on solutions with internal Senior stakeholders and with customers. Experience in European geography is a must.
Skills/Qualifications Required :
- B.E/B.Tech + MBA with strong Media & Entertainment domain background
- 10+ years of solid Delivery & presales experience in Cable, Media & Entertainment domain. At least 3-5 years in a presales role is must
- Good understanding of M&E industry trends, their implications for an IT services company and latest Tools/Technologies/Platforms
- Strong knowledge of IBMS, OTT, IPTV, DAM/MAM, Content Management, Ad sales, Content buying-selling platforms, Editorial, Pre-press, Integrated Publishing and Content Distribution platforms. Strong background for any of the 2 platforms is required
- Strong understanding of Digital Content Value chain processes & workflows
