At Outsized, we match clients in financial services and management consulting to high-quality independent consultants and boutique/specialist firms for the execution of their key projects. This project offers an opportunity to join a combined team from a global strategy consulting firm and a leading bank in the Philippines. The engagement is part of a large retail banking technology transformation program which will include the implementation of a new core banking solution. To support the project team, there is a need for an experienced solution architect with proven experience leading multi-year enterprise scale core banking replacements. As part of the transformation the organisation will be building new solutions, migrating from legacy to new, enhancing existing and changing existing, Seeking individuals with the following experience: - Tech/Solution Architect: front end, CRM, APIs, data analytics, cloud Infra (deep expertise in one or breadth across all) - Experience of at least 1 core banking replacement project end-to-end (multiyear programme) - Experience across multiple core banking systems, ideally including Temenos Core banking tech architecture - Understanding of complexities involved in migrating from legacy to new systems - Knowledge of new and emerging technologies - Knowledge of integration technologies: APIs - Understanding of data migration considerations This will be an initial 6-month scope focused on completing the design phase. If successful there may be an opportunity to extend for the subsequent build and implementation phases. The project is run in English and so there is no requirement for local language skills. The client is open to individuals who would prefer to fly-in and fly-out each week (fly-in on Monday morning, fly-out Thursday evening) as well as those already located in Manilla or keen and able to re-locate for this engagement.
