The role of a Solution Architect is critical to the objective of building our Application Outsourcing business.
Key Points :
- To be able to define the As - Is model and envisage the To-BE model
- Determine the cost parameters of all elements of the solution (transition, solution realization, ongoing operations) throughout the life of the contract.
- Experience in leading a team during the Sales Cycle of a large Application Management Outsourcing Opportunity
Key responsibilities will include :
- Define all elements of the solution model in sufficient detail to accurately estimate the cost, effort, timeline and likelihood of success in delivering the contract with the value for both the client and Accenture.
- Define the as-is model in sufficient detail for internal audiences to leverage consistent information about the client's current delivery state
- Develop the value proposition / business case for long term outsourcing
- Identify personnel, technology, process and offshore needs and opportunities to meet defined value objectives
- Identify the initiatives needed to transform the transitioned organization to the organization envisioned in the solution model.
- Estimate the resources needed over time to complete all work detailed in the solution (Transition, Solution Realisation, Ongoing Operation) throughout the life of the contract
- Determine the cost parameters of all elements of the solution (transition, solution realization, ongoing operations) throughout the life of the contract
- Develop innovative pricing models, such as transaction based pricing, gain share, etc.
- Document all risks, issues and mitigation strategies that could affect fulfilling the terms of the deal.
- Balance scope, quality, effort, schedule, budget and risk.
- Raise issues to appropriate executive leadership as soon as realized or anticipated
- Ensure solution value drivers are reflected in the client value proposition
- Lead the solution review process to complete the required approvals within the Accenture system
- Lead contract negotiation with the client and ensure that the contract is in line with the approved solution plan.
