Senior IT Business Partner

Role Sr. IT Business Partner

Reports to CIO

Location Pune, Baner Head Office

Management Level : AGM

Primary role: The Sr. IT Business Partner shall assist in delivery of applications and automation initiatives for the Sales, Pre-Sales, CRM, Marketing & Facilities Management functions including. A significant part of the incumbents role will revolve around Salesforce (SFDC). There will be considerable work to be done around Customer Portals/Customer mobile app/Loyalty apps etc.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Be the IT Business Partner for the abovementioned functional teams and engage with them continuously to understand and deliver on their business requirements through automation

2. Create an As-Is and To-be processes and a business case which supports the automation

3. Create requirement documents (project charter, requirements specifications, functional design specifications) for use by the application development team/IT vendor

4. Invite proposals from various vendors and actively participate in vendor/product evaluations and facilitate demos and POC (Proof of concept) presentations to management and end-users

5. Work with the CIO/Head-IT to shortlist the most appropriate IT partner/product/solution by doing a detailed assessment on relevant parameters

6. On-board the shortlisted IT vendor and create a detailed time-bound Project plan for delivery of the application/automation initiative (set-up a review cadence with the IT vendor partner)

7. Carry out detailed testing of the application internally within the Solitaire IT team and then work with business teams to conduct exhaustive User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

8. Operate like an overall Project Lead and ensure timely delivery of a high-quality project in line with the organizations and technology teams goals

9. Manage the entire Procure-to-pay process for such products/partners

10. Manage cross-functional relationships, work with IT/business teams, negotiate IT-business demands and communicate IT direction to leadership teams and functional heads

Experience and skills :

- Must be technology-agnostic and should be open to working on any technology platform

- Experience 8-13 years. Experience in the Real Estate/Infra space is a plus but not mandatory

- Extensive experience with SalesForce implementation and administration is critical

- Should have been part of atleast 1-2 exhaustive Salesforce implementation cycles

- Education Bachelors in any discipline, MBA is a plus but not mandatory

- A Certified Salesforce Administrator is a huge plus for this role

- Solid understanding of all aspects of SalesFore (SFDC) user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups

- Should be able to confidently carry out Salesforce (SFDC) configuration changes, including, but not limited to - Workflows, Process Builder, Fields, Page layouts, Record types, Custom settings, Dashboards and Reports

- Functional knowledge of ERP applications like SAP is a plus

- Functional knowledge of integrations of website lead forms and social media handles (Facebook manager etc) with SalesForce is a plus

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Sensitivity and respect towards timelines is an essential requirement for this role

- Travel to remote sites may be required at times. This is a hands-on role and requires the candidate to roll up her/his sleeves and have high results orientation
