As a Software Sales Strategist specializing in the Insurance Broker Industry, you will be responsible for establishing and cultivating strategic relationships with insurance brokers. Leveraging your industry expertise, you will play a pivotal role in positioning our software solutions as essential tools for their business success. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and results-driven individual with a proven track record of successfully selling technology platforms (SaaS based products) to insurance brokers.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth within the insurance sector.
- Identify and target potential clients, including insurance companies, brokers, and related entities, fostering strong and enduring relationships.
- Understand client needs and pain points, effectively articulating how our software solutions can address their challenges and drive operational efficiency.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product Development, to align strategies and ensure the delivery of value-driven solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to adapt and refine sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, demonstrations, and proposals that showcase the unique benefits of our software platforms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records using CRM software.
- Provide insights and feedback from the market to contribute to the continuous improvement of our software offerings.
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales culture.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (an MBA is a plus).
- Proven track record of 3 - 10+ years of successful sales experience, with a substantial focus on selling SaaS-based Software (Products) to Insurance Brokers.
- Deep understanding of the insurance industry, its challenges, and the role of technology in driving innovation.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
