About Role:

The primary aim of the Software Development Manager is to manage a team of 10-15 software engineers and design, develop and deliver omni channel User Interface (on Web browser, tablet and mobile) for our Pelican products using Java, Angular JS, Bootstrap, REST API and Spring framework

Experience Level & Qualification:

Experience Level:

- 12-15 years work experience in Java/J2EE/Web Interface development.

- 3 years as Software Development Manager

Educational Background:

- B.E/B Tech / M Tech /B.Sc Comp/ M.Sc Comp

Essential Skills:

- Experience in managing a team of 10-15 software engineers.

- Setting standards and ensuring that software development practices are followed by the team.

- Experience in Web technologies, REST APIs, Microservices, Spring framework and related technologies, solutions and products.

- Experience in app development for Android and iOS.

- Should be well conversant with Web Application security requirements

- BFSI Domain knowledge

Additional Skills:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to communicate with offshore clients.

- Resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in both expectation and crisis management.

- Should have ability to quickly adopt and learn new technology
