Software Architect - Python - Healthcare Domain

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Create deployment automation and orchestration platforms to deploy multiple software and hardware solutions.

Build and maintain enterprise monitoring platforms and scripts, including basic infrastructure checks and synthetic transactions.

Design, implement and sustain a hardened, scalable and resilient infrastructure platform for Healthcare applications

Create Proof of Concept/Prototypes in order to evaluate new technologies and vendors, proactively contribute to infrastructure platform vision, architecture and roadmap.

"Does implementation of key modules" and can develop quick working prototypes, when necessary

Performs the role of a specialist by reviewing work products

Supports in project estimation, planning and risk management activities

Performs the role of a Requirements Engineer by analyzing and understanding the Functional Requirements Specification

Translates a futuristic concept into prototype elements within the scope of his expertise

Take ownership of a feature from requirements, design, peer review, implementation and documentation.

Communicate risk mitigation, solution alternatives, and process improvement

Role Competency:

Excellent Architecture & Design skills with expertise in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) focused on scalability and performance

Strong web and cloud development exposure on Linux and Windows based platform

Experience working on source software stack building scalable restful services.

Strong development experience in building scalable and distributed messaging stack. Experience in skills such as RabittMq and Celery is big plus.

Well versed with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell & JavaScript.

Experience in infrastructure & application monitoring tools.

Exposure to automation and orchestration skills such as Chef, Ansible, puppet

Experience with Amazon Web services and amazon cloud or any other public cloud platforms is a big plus.

Strong NoSQL experience (MongoDB, elastic search) handling large volumes of data

Experience with information and application security including public key encryption, SSH, access credentials, and X.509 certificates.

Experience in big data analytics is a plus.

Exposure to configuration and orchestration tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible are big plus.

Ability to translate "Complex" requirements / module into efficient implementation

Exposure to Agile Development.

Ability to mentor the team technically

Strong Investigation, Analytical and Problem Solving skill

Knowledge of Quality standards and healthcare regulations is plus

Experience

B.E/M.S in Computer Science

10+ years of software development experience

At least 3 years of experience in requirements analysis and translation into software architecture and design preferably in large enterprise solutions or software platforms
