Softbank Energy - Senior Manager - Project Finance Analytics - CFA

As part of the finance team, own all aspects of model infrastructure, including model creation, maintenance, and scenario analysis. Oversee and manage the use of organizations' finances, including cash flow, asset and liability levels, credit and investment income. Might also advise organizations on how to acquire or maintain their financial health.

Key Account-abilities :

- Modeling/Financial Analysis: Create, modify and/or review different financial, economic, or other models (e.g., valuation, financial projections, project finance, econometric, etc.) to support strategic decisions or M&A transactions, applying critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and data analysis

- Own modeling infrastructure to prepare all finance related output for board deck, internal management reviews etc.

- Help finance team in meeting the CP (conditions precedent) and CS (conditions subsequent) processes for financing, working closely Manager, Finance to process manage the drawdown.

- Maintain diligence data room, and own administrative process of due diligence with lenders.

- Support management on all financing / analytical activities.

- Work closely with business development / project management teams to track and maintain assumptions database for renewable projects in India..

Specific Areas of Responsibilities:

Financial Modeling :

- Prepares / modifies comprehensive financial models for various projects to deliver cash flow forecast, scenario analysis, risk assessment and return analysis.

- Perform unique, detailed, and often unprecedented analytical work in support of the comprehensive and increasingly complex debt, investment, and capital management of the organization.

- Provides timely and accurate rolling Forecast to ensure the business is on track to deliver to budget expectations.

Reporting

- Prepares technical financial reports, monitors fiscal actions, conducts asset and liability assessments and analyzes complex data.

- Collects, digests, organizes, and summarizes organization wide financial information, reporting results to senior management for high-level decision making purposes.

Desired Profile : 

Experience : 

- 4-5 years experience in analytics, project finance and M&A Preferably from top investment bank 

Educational Qualifications : 

CFA level 3 (chartered holder)

Skills : 

- Database-specific financial modeling skills

- High level MS Excel & Macros proficiency
