Context: FIN is part of global team of Finance IT team for the group. The main aim of this team is to provide IT for all the group needs for Finance domain. This covers application development, maintenance and support needs for applications with global user base. The domains covered by the team are Performance Management (BS, P&L), Accounting, Regulatory Reporting and Procure-to-pay functions. The candidate is expected to have a good exposure on any one or many of the domains. Primary Role: As the head of FIN delivery teams in Bangalore, the incumbent would have the following responsibilities - Strengthen the delivery practices aligned to global objectives - Ensure quality and on time delivery of projects and enhancement of existing applications - Work with global technology and business counterparts to propose and enhance existing processes and solutions - Expand the team in Bangalore by adding technical experts - Establishing efficient delivery processes (Agile @ Scale, Continuous Integration/Delivery etc) - Partner with global partners to prepare and execute roadmap for Bangalore team in line with the global aspiration - Bring in innovation in the current technical and business process Experience & Skills: Below are some mandatory and optional skills required to be successful in this role - Good experience in the any Finance discipline (Performance Management/ Balance Sheet and P&L / Accounting / Regulatory Reporting / P2P). - Good understanding of the technology (Peoplesoft FSCM, .Net) and its capabilities - Ability to make influencing proposals and take proposals from inception to realization - Ability to build a team of experts with high technical ability - Experience of working in high energy, multi cultural teams handling strict deadlines - Experience of setting up continuous integration and continuous delivery practices in the Agile framework.
