Context: Finance function of the bank performs Asset &amp; Liability Management (ALM) that includes Liquidity risk calculation and regulatory reporting of liquidity risk. In this context, the technology team in SG GSC along with the teams overseas, performs application development and maintenance of the all the applications relating to ALM. The technology roadmap for ALM applications involves moving to open source and new technology like big data and SOA. Primary Role: As the head of ALM delivery teams in Bangalore, the incumbent would have the following responsibilities -&nbsp; - Strengthen the delivery practices aligned to global objectives - Ensure quality and on time delivery of projects and enhancement of existing applications - Work with global technology and business counterparts to propose and enhance existing processes and solutions - Expand the team in Bangalore by adding technical experts - Establishing efficient delivery processes (Agile @ Scale, Continuous Integration/Delivery etc) - Partner with global partners to prepare and execute roadmap for Bangalore team in line with the global aspiration - Bring in innovation in the current technical and business process Experience &amp; Skills: Below are some mandatory and optional skills required to be successful in this role - Good experience in the domain of Liquidity risk and ALM. Need to interact with business sponsors of the bank - Experience in handling small and large programs involving liquidity risk - Good understanding of the technology (Exadata, Java, big data and ML) and its capabilities - Ability to make influencing proposals and take proposals from inception to realization - Ability to build a team of experts with high technical ability - Ability to make good use of team potential in creating business value more than what is normally expected - Experience of working in high energy, multi cultural teams handling strict deadlines - Experience of setting up continuous integration and continuous delivery practices in the Agile framework - Ability to contribute to strategic topics around data and accessibility
