Societe Generale - Business Analyst

Must have skills:

- Business Analysis experience in investment banks

- Strong knowledge on referential data

- Hands on SQL queries

Good to have skills:

- Understanding of investment banking products

Roles and responsibilities:

- Understand user expectations and develop functional requirements and raises clarifications with stakeholders.

- Produce Functional Specifications and Design Specifications

- Give Knowledge Transfer to the development team on Functional Specifications.

- Train developers on functional concepts and resolve functional problems faced.

- Acts as SPOC for business requirements and represents the end user in the development team.

- Lead and conduct functional testing thereby responsible for certification of product release before user acceptance.

- Encourage best practices and apply them in the team - responsible for functional product quality.

- Understand Agile practices (daily scrum, iteration planning, retrospective, test driven, model storming) and follow the same.

- Set priority on work product as per the agreed iteration/project goals.

- Work effectively with other team members/BA Community by sharing best practices and functional Knowledge

- Decompose the business requirements into functional specification documentation

- Produce Functional Test cases and Perform Functional Testing before delivery to User Acceptance.

- Help in Test Automation.

- Help Management in Producing the Metrics and Management reporting.

- Eventually to take up the PM responsibility of a medium size Project.

Shift timings: 9 AM to 6 PM

Work Location: ITPL, Whitefield
