Social Media & Content Lead - Active Wear/Fitness Gadgets Segment - eCommerce

About The Role:

- The organisation has a vision to create a strong direct-to-consumer one of the Premium Sports-Gear brand born out of India. This involves a crucial task of truly understanding customers, their preferences, their biases and conscious/subconscious choices they make while deciding their workout gear.

- A Social Media and Content Lead's role would thus revolve around creating content, not limited to social media, to influence consumers for their workout wear needs. Also, drive healthy conversations, build communities, engagement and bring this brand to life on social media.

Responsibilities:

- Be the voice of brand across all channels, especially social media

- Own and Drive social media strategy and social media calendar stemming from the strategy

- Engage in social listening on company as well as "sportswear category" to create relatable content

- Drive engagement through effective storytelling concepts, ideas and words. Drive innovative and evocative content aligned to brand objectives, tailored for social channels.

- Be the owner of key performance metric for social media. Own and publish social media dashboard on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Requirements:

- You possess great writing skills with a portfolio of blog posts and/or social media handles we can access and read.

- You are a storyteller at heart who loves conversations and technology.

- Manage the concept and copy requirements.

- A lateral thinker who can write fresh copy without using cliches.

- Keeping up to date with popular culture and trends and using the same to create content and conversations for business/brand and category.

- Should closely understand the creative requirements of various social media channels.
