SME Head - Treasury - Banking (10-12 yrs)

Our client is an Indian banking and financial services company headquartered in Mumbai. It has 100,000 permanent employees. They are India's largest private sector lender by assets and the largest bank in India by market capitalization.

My clients are looking for an SME Head - Treasury, based in Mumbai. The role reports into the segment head - Retail and Business Banking Group - Treasury Advisory Group

- The Treasury Advisory Group is the customer-facing unit of the treasury. The team is responsible for the entire Treasury Product offering across FX and derivatives products to ALL customers of the Bank.

- The Branch Channel role in Treasury Advisory Group is responsible for the Treasury Product offering across FX and Derivative products to the assigned customers in the geography. This includes the customers of Branch Banking, Business Banking Group, Emerging Enterprise Group, Commodity Group Customers, that is all customers who are serviced from the branch network. The role largely caters to SME customers

- The role would involve implementing the business strategy of the unit, adapting the business strategy into new geographical areas, increase market and wallet share of FX business, build strong relationships with senior external and internal stakeholders and focus the on the fulfilment of all transactions in adherence to the bank's process and policies.

- They are looking for someone with detailed treasury product knowledge, including pricing capabilities, should have had hands-on experience on this aspect. Adequate knowledge of markets, with the ability to interpret these data and use it for business opportunities.

Education: MBA qualifications in Finance or CA
