Smartnomics Insolvency Professionals LLP - Advocate/Legal Practitioner - NCLT

Salary offered; 12 - 25 LPA

The main job responsibilities for this incumbent would include the following-

1)To file insolvency applications on behalf of banks and other clients and representation before NCLT.

2) To attend to hearings before NCLT and DRT and to prepare and present all the documents etc.

3)To study, understand and discuss about Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).

4) To structure, draft and review website development dedicated to this new law.

5) To study all the developments in this new law and to keep the website updated with all the notifications, law, orders and judgments.

6) To evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.

7) To work as Insolvency Professionals under IBC and to work for realization of assets and making distribution to the creditors.

8) Seeks to understand the clients business, market, issues and objectives for the matter.

9) Regularly maintaining a track record of all client transactions.

10) Assists the Senior / Counsel while negotiating in dealings with clients

- Demonstrates and shares technical skills, knowledge and experience in his/her own areas of expertise

- Provide strategic inputs related to banking and Finance transactions

- Provide support in Corporate Commercial matters, drafting agreement and contracts related to Banking & Financing

Desired Candidate Profile

The essential qualities desired in the candidate include the following -

Qualification & Years of Experience

- Must be enrolled in the Bar Council of India as a Practicing Advocate

- LLB from a reputed law school in India

- Expertise in Banking & Finance Law / NCLT Matters
