As Senior Data scientist at slice, you will play a critical role in enabling seamless customer funnel management. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with leadership to enable rapid business growth. What you'll do - Using alternative data (text, network graph, location etc) to create models for identifying propensity of applying, risk and revenue potential of customers - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand the business needs; formulate and complete end-to-end solutions - Identify unconventional data sources that can be used for understanding customer behavior, identify ways that data can be captured and then use that data to further refine existing models - Self-sufficient in deploying models and regular model performance monitoring Qualification - Bachelors or Master from Tier 1 college with 3-7 years experience in data science - Experience in solving business problems using NLP and Graph Database - Advanced knowledge of Python, SQL required - Strong business judgment and integrity - Experience in cross team collaboration especially between analytics, tech and product teams - Tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to solutions - Ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team - Impeccable written and oral communication, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills
