Responsibilities :
- Report to senior leadership (Surya and Sarang) at Skill-Lync
- Interface with the senior technical advisor (Dr. Mahadevan) to carry out the vision of the Transition to Practice Nursing Program (which combines online and in-person learning).
- Find teaching faculty in India to develop/give some of the didactic lectures in the Transition to Practice Nursing program.
- Hire and train a staff of medical educators who will provide online mentoring to students as well as in-person mentoring at the simulation centre; develop a weekly work schedule for these medical educators (splitting their time between online and in-person activities)
- Oversee the development and operation of two simulation centres (in Chennai and Delhi)
- For medical procedures
- To simulate clinical scenarios
- Oversee development and organisation of simulation clinical case scenarios for use with the program (both online and in-person)
- Oversee development and organisation of MCQs (and other teaching materials) for use with the program
- Liaise with corporate hospitals to place nursing students into clinical observation programs
- Perform outreach to nursing colleges to recruit students for the program
- Assist with the rollout of subsequent medical courses (e.g., Home Health Nursing, etc...)
- Assist with the creation of a clinical advisory board (which will meet 2-3x per year)
Desired Skills :
- Prior hospital-based clinical experience (medical, nursing)
- Prior clinical teaching experience
- Prior administrative role or leadership position
