Job Description:


Position: General Manager/DGM - Sales & Marketing (Interiors)


Grade: SM1


Reporting to: Business Head


Location: Hyderabad


PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The purpose of this position is to head the Sales & Marketing department, frame and implement policies and procedures and drive the team to achieve business targets.


Financial: Achievement of Revenue Targets (Monthly/Quarterly/Half Yearly/Yearly) ; Target Vs Actual


Customer: Conversion of Leads to Sales


Internal: Develop and Implement Sales & Marketing Policies and Procedures


People: Plan and Hire competent people. Identify Training needs and Train Them.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategies and define the objectives.


- Planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives annually, and submitting time

projections to management for approval.


- Effectively communicate with the team regularly, review forecasts and ensure consistency with annual projections.


- Paying close attention to daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action.


- Driving the team for the sales through digital and offline marketing.


- Formulate, direct, or coordinate marketing activities or policies to promote products or services.


- Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.


- Direct the hiring, training, or performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff and oversee their daily activities.


- Consult with product development personnel on product specifications.


- Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.


- Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services.


- Initiate market research studies, analyze the findings and identify the opportunities.


- Consult with buying personnel to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand.


- Conduct economic or commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products or services.


DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:


- Proven experience as a General Manager/Dy. General Manager in Sales & Marketing from Interiors industry.


- Experience in business planning, formulating policies and procedures.


- Should have knowledge on Sales and Marketing principles and methods


- Required to work in challenging environment and person should have initiative and leadership.


- Should have excellent communication, presentation and customer relationship skills.


- 15 to 20 years of experience in Sales & Marketing from Interiors Industry.


- Education should be MBA in Marketing, B.Arch/Civil Engineering/Interior Design qualification added advantage.
