Site Head
- The Site Head is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of site operations across people, production, quality, and facility maintenance, to ensure highly efficient operational activities of manufacturing and R&D.
- Direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for people, production, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities.
- Establish efficient cross-functional communications (R&D/manufacturing/QC/QA/marketing/finance) to improve efficiency
- Coordinate plant operations through planning with functional lead to ensure overall manufacturing objectives are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Responsible for meeting key metrics such as production schedules, quality standards, production yields, cost targets, production planning and inventory control
- Oversee development and implementation of rigorous quality control procedures for reagents, instruments, and processes.
- Participate in the development and management of R&D budgets, profits, plans
- Accountable and responsible for product costing, budgeting, and capex planning
- Responsible for project management on R&D deliverables and enabling high quality and on time deliveries
- Responsible for oversight of the regulatory process and other compliance related to technical activities
- Maintain an active role in facilities planning to ensure optimum use of space and optimize work flow
- Assists COO with short-term and long-term operating goals, expansion efforts, and improvements in the technologies to improve efficiency
- Process improvements to ensure higher quality and efficiency in existing products
- General Statutory and Regulatory Support (technical)

b. IAEC
c. Any other regulatory compliance related to technical activities
Qualifications : Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, bioengineering or related field with at least 15 years of post-Ph.D. experience in leading plants or manufacturing sites
Experience :
- Deep experience in leading plant operations in Medical Devices, Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in turn around or units, having led cultural change
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Detail oriented with excellent prioritizing, scheduling, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with and influencing senior managers.
- Able to build and maintain effective and credible relationships with key stakeholders and across all areas of the business
