Site Commercial Head - Procurement/Warehouse/Logistics

Site Commercial Head ( Gujarat) for a very large and global Indian MNC growing rapidly in domestic as well as global markets. B.Tech + MBA with minimum 12 years of well-rounded experience of all functions of procurement, stores including controlling RM & PM, inventory, RGP, NRGP, etc.

Job Purpose :

- Entire commercial activities which includes procurement of engineering spares & services, specifically opex for that particular site, warehousing of raw materials, opex and capex spares, logistics/dispatch of finished goods as well as by products.

- The position also is responsible for leading and managing teams of Logistics, Stores, procurement to ensure timely availability of materials & consumables by the user groups. The role is also responsible for fulfilling the statutory requirements for imports and exports.

Job Responsibilities :

- Plan and implement best practices in procurement, warehouse and logistics management

- Drive strategic initiatives pertaining to vendor management, e-procurement, scrap management, material handling and by product management.

- Spearhead cost reduction initiatives by consolidating tasks and eliminating non-value- added processes.

- Liaise with Government Authorities to ensure statutory compliance related to imports and exports and site specific SEZ activities.

- Provide support in assessing supplier quality and develop parameters for choosing the right suppliers
