SIS Group - Senior Analyst - M&A & Investor Relations (5-7 yrs)

We are looking for a Senior Analyst - M&A and Investor Relations. The person selected will be a key contributor to ongoing inorganic activities and Investor Relations programs.

The individual will have the opportunity to work directly with senior managers and executives of the M&A and CFO's team to execute on a range of M&A, fund raising and other strategic planning activities. The position will be responsible for developing financial models, making investment committee notes, working with external advisors on diligence and legal documents.

He will also interact with various fund managers, research analysts, brokerage houses, rating agencies and work with them proactively to address incoming queries, make presentations internally and externally on quarterly and annual results.

Typical Responsibilities:

- Modeling/Financial Analysis: Create, modify and/or review different financial, economic, or other models (e.g., valuation, financial projections, project finance, etc.) to support strategic decisions or M&A transactions, applying critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and data analysis.

- Diligence - coordinating with various external financial and legal diligence teams during the due diligence process.

- Discussion Materials: Prepare presentation materials synthesizing research findings, data analysis and recommendations in a clear and logical manner, for discussion with working teams and presentation to senior management and to external brokerage houses, fund managers etc

- Research: Conduct market research, understand and track competitive landscape, benchmarking of companies, review of industry reports etc.

- Project Management: The individual should have good project management skills to coordinate the various activities, develop work plans, roadmaps and templates to track and organize strategic planning activities, and support internal brainstorming and knowledge sharing.

Education and Experience Qualifications

- 5-7 years experience in M&A

- CA/ MBA (Finance) with strong academic track record

- Past experience from a big 5 in a diligence or transaction advisory role would be preferred.

- Goes without saying - should have a keen eye on numbers and diligence skills are vital

- Excellent written communication

- Should have excellent presentation skills

- Should be a self-starter and possess good and pleasant interpersonal skills
