Position Overview -
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Consultant with a deep understanding of digital prototyping and simulation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong network within the industry sector or startup ecosystem and have a thorough grasp of simulation-based research and development. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our growth while enjoying a commission-based compensation structure tied to confirmed orders.
Key Responsibilities -
- Identify potential clients and projects that align with our expertise, fostering and nurturing strong relationships within the industry sector and startup community.
- Leverage existing industry contacts and networks to generate leads and promote our digital prototyping and simulation services.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that project proposals meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Lead the negotiation and execution of contracts, ensuring mutual understanding and satisfaction.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from initial engagement to contract closure and project initiation.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in simulation-based research and development.
- Provide strategic insights and thought leadership to clients, demonstrating the value of our services.
- Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and progress against targets to company management.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development, sales, or consulting roles within the digital prototyping and simulation industry.
- Deep understanding of the requirements of digital prototyping and simulation, coupled with knowledge of simulation-based research and development.
- Strong industry network and relationships within the target sectors, including established industry players and startup ecosystems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Proficiency in articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Compensation:
The Business Consultant will receive commission-based compensation for confirmed orders generated through their efforts. This commission structure provides an opportunity for substantial earnings based on successfully closed deals.
Location:
The role can be based remotely with the flexibility to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
