Director, Credit Transformation GDC

- The Director of Credit Transformation will initially support SVB's Credit team expansion in the bank's Global Delivery Center in Bangalore India, including both the repatriation of work currently provided by an outsourced partner as well as expansion of the other Credit functions. The individual will be key member of the team to design, implementation, and refinement of key process flows both within the Credit GDC and with US teams, and provide critical project management. As a highly strategic position, the role will additionally oversee the Credit Expansion team while standing up the organization with the opportunity to increase management opportunities.

- Working closely with US counterparts, develop and maintain a project roadmap for the buildout of the Credit team in Bangalore. Including the process flows within and out of the bank's GDC.

- Develop a portfolio of initiatives to drive organizational transformation and enable the Credit organization to scale for growth.

- Ensures the right initiatives are undertaken based on regular prioritization sessions and the benefits are measurable, fully realized, and reported to the US counterparts.

- Provides a governance structure for the GDC Credit team. Ensures accountability and enables the predictability of the outcomes of each initiative.

- The key results areas are development and growth of the team, project strategy/planning and prioritization, communication and change management, continuous improvement performance management, and tracking.

- Engage stakeholders, including CXO executives, across the enterprise to prioritize areas in needs;

- Bring technology and scalable automation solutions (e.g. RPA) as we reimagine processes and ways to manage/process information.

- Re-design and improve existing Credit processes, establish appropriate performance management practices, revisit organization and roles, and strengthen cultural mindsets. Deploy new processes rapidly and in parallel to existing ones to measure and demonstrate value before scaling.

- Manage evaluation and reporting on performance against the roadmap and broader set of operational excellence targets.

- Embed skills and practices to ensure continuous improvement beyond initial effort, by developing and delivering training and other skill development activities

- Manage broad team of analysts supporting various functions across the Credit Organization

- Management and transformation experience in both, leading a business line or corporate FP&A function, and leading a team in an offshore/outsourced service provider (medium to large organization). The right candidate will have a proven track record in identifying and implementing automation/robotic solutions.

- Strong knowledge of process engineering, automation, and robotics

Education and certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance or a related field of study

Experience:

- Deep expertise and 15+ years of experience in Banking/ Financial Services industry

- Deep experience in credit support functions, loan origination, and financial analysis

- Experience managing a team with diverse roles and responsibilities
