About the Job As a Product Associate Director, FP&amp;A-India, at Silicon Valley Bank, you will work for the bank of the innovation economy. This role supports the Banks Product Organization with product profitability analytics and business case financial modeling. You will work closely with the Director of Product Profitability, FP &amp; A US and partner with the Product Organization and Technology Delivery. The ideal candidate will be analytically minded with a strong focus on detail and be committed to quality deliverables. Day-to-Day Individual responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following: - Work with FP &amp; A US team to support the development of financial models for Product business case investments - Collaborate with Product to determine financial assumptions and economics - Source, process, clean and structure and synthesize required data - Perform data analytics such as understanding current state operational cost and impact of investment and targets on future state - Collaborate with Product team on investment KPIs, targets and financial benefit implications - Develop excel based financial models - Support the documentation of financial assumptions and development of business case materials Work with FP &amp; A US team to support the development of new driver based product financial models. Related&nbsp;objectives include: - Deep dive analysis on key drivers - Measure impact of product focused investment initiatives and scenario sensitivities on Product Profitability - Identify opportunities to drive revenue or operating leverage - Operationalize Key Performance Indicators and link to product investment initiatives - Articulate (written and verbally) impact of investments on product profitability and provide recommendations for an executive audience - Contribute to the development of financial forecasts and reporting for Product Organization Core fee income, risks and opportunities identification and reporting: - Analysis of historical financial performance and impact on forward-looking views - Core fee revenue annual budget and quarterly financial forecasting - Upload of core fee forecast to the Financial Budgeting and Management reporting system - Ad-hoc financial analytics for Product Leadership Team - Prepare &amp; Analyze financial reports, charts, tables, and other exhibits as requested. - Assist with reporting activities related to the production of both regular scheduled reports, as well as ad-hoc report building to support the GFOs and FP&amp;A teams. You'll bring along skills in - Budgeting and forecasting - Business partnering - Financial modeling - Data Analytics - Management reporting and analysis &nbsp;Allocations and profitability reporting - Project reporting and tracking - Python Qualifications&nbsp; The ideal candidate will have/be - Commercial Banking experience - 12-14 years experience in banking and/or other financial services businesses. - 10+ years knowledge of the principles and theories of finance, accounting and/or other related business fields and disciplines. - Proficient with Microsoft Office and functionalities of corporate financial systems. - Proven strong/effective communication skills. - Ability to collect, process, clean, structure, analyze, synthesize and present data efficiently and effectively - Data analysis, visualization &amp; storytelling Candidate should be very comfortable working with data in a variety of formats and common applications (e.g., Tableau, Excel). - Proficient in Python with strong data &amp; analytics skills and ability to present data efficiently and effectively - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required for model development and executive level output and reporting - Ability to complete assigned responsibilities as a team and engage with business partners with a friendly, service-oriented attitude - Lead cross-functional business initiatives and encourage team to cultivate relationships across the business. - Facilitate teams to develop new ideas, more powerful than any original individual ideas; eliminate low-value activities within the department. - Create an environment where teams and individuals enjoy achieving results; leverage additional capability in resources to deliver results. - Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), MBA Finance and/or other advanced designation preferred
