SIIC FIRST - Manager - Enterprise Development

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Facilitating agglomerations of unorganized processing enterprises through creation/strengthening of primary society, and centers and Self Help Groups (SHG), etc., and strengthening/setting up of technical partner network and vendors.

- Entrepreneurship Development: building the micro-enterprises setups, capacity building for SHGs in procurement, and processing, running and facilitating training and other empowerment programs to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of centers/units/SHGs across the state

- Evaluating and improving processing capacity of micro-units with support from technical teams

- Coordination with stakeholders to execute improvement plans for all the microunits and SHG operations

- Leading & supporting project execution/program implementation bringing required stakeholders necessary resources together

- MIS on related activities and supporting other teams for data requirements from the different centers across the state

- Lead and support other activities as assigned

Minimum Eligibility:

- Graduate/Post Graduate in Development Studies/Social Work/Sociology/Entrepreneurship from reputed National/International University/Institute.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in development work/ field work/ project execution with the development of Microenterprises, SHGs engaged especially with Food Processing or Agri-based or related industries.

- Experience handling state/central government projects and the social sector.

- Strong research and documentation skills.

- Competence in working with multidimensional & multicultural environments.

- Excellent communication skills (Spoken and Written) in English & Hindi.

Desirable :

- Experience in Entrepreneurship Development/startups/startup incubators/SHGs.

Base Location: NAVA Raipur (Chhattisgarh)

Travel:

- As and when required, across the country for project monitoring and execution as well as for coordination with geographically distributed teams.
