Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive sales of core products such as loans, insurance, accounts, investment products, etc.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities for branch customers.
- Monitor and support the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor Relationship Officers, Sales Executives, and Operations staff.
- Allocate sales and service responsibilities, ensure target adherence.
- Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and on-ground coaching.
Branch Operations & Compliance:
- Support in daily branch operations including cash handling, KYC checks, policy issuance, and loan
disbursement.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory norms and internal audits (RBI, IRDAI, etc.)
- Monitor branch documentation, approvals, and system entries for accuracy and timeliness.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Resolve customer queries, grievances, and escalations promptly.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Build strong local relationships and community engagement.
Reporting & MIS:
- Generate and maintain daily/weekly branch performance reports.
- Analyze branch KPIs such as footfall, lead conversion, disbursement ratio, etc.
- Present reports to Branch Manager or Zonal Office.
Technical & Digital Skills:
- Proficient in branch banking software, CRM platforms, and core transaction systems (e.g., Finacle, CRMNext, Tally, Core Banking Solutions)
- Knowledge of Loan Management Systems (LMS) or Policy Administration Systems (in case of insurance)
- Excel skills for data analysis (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Dashboarding)
- Use of mobile apps and POS systems for customer service and onboarding
- Familiarity with compliance and audit tools for branch governance
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent
- 36 years of experience in branch banking, microfinance, NBFCs, retail sales, or insurance
- Proven team handling experience is mandatory
- IRDAI or AMFI certifications are an added advantage (if applicable)
