Job Brief Strategic Operations Head

We are looking for a Strategic Operations Head to lead a team that plans, executes and tracks political campaigns that create high impact in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The ideal candidate should be able to manage the end-to-end political liaisoning, Media, planning & execution of campaign strategies including coordination with senior political leaders and stakeholder engagements.

Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers are part of project teams and work with the organisation team and client team members to develop political and campaign strategies for the client.

What We Are Looking for In You?

1) The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving, team leadership, and thought leadership skills, and should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.

2) Prior experience of working closely with external stakeholders and proper liaising with internal stakeholders is a must.

3) Experience in campaign planning and execution on the basis of issues. Efficient mobilisation of the cadre during the campaign execution phase.

4) Establish strong communication between a variety of stakeholders to ensure the proper execution and monitoring of the campaign operations.

5) Create and maintain a performance matrix with the utmost transparency in the entire process.

6) Create a strong network until the last mile and establish a feedback mechanism for the client

7) Conducting regular social listening is essential for prioritising issues and staying in touch with public sentiment.

8) Ensure the committees' appointment and smooth operation of the same.

Required Qualifications :

1) Graduate/Post Graduate from IIT/IIM or similar Ivy League institutions

2) Minimum 5+ years of experience in executing and leading campaigns on the ground that carry out large-scale outreach

3) Possess superior problem-solving and analytical abilities, as well as the ability to propose practical solutions to problems. Contribute ideas and strategies towards tackling the dynamic political developments

4) Ability to pay attention to minute details that can have a long-lasting high impact

5) Have a strong bias for action and an ability to deal with ambiguity

6) Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various internal teams, including digital media, data analytics, strategic research, and operations, to achieve the set goal.

Preferred Qualifications:

1) Previous work experience in any political consulting domain will be a deal breaker

2) Context and understanding of Andhra Pradesh's culture, geography, and political landscape will be a plus.

3) Language proficiency in Telugu is must
