ShortHills Tech - Vice President - Finance (10-20 yrs)
We are hiring a Vice President, Finance for our client based in USA.
This person will shape a high-level vision for the company's fiscal discipline, while overseeing tactical execution of accounting, management reporting, treasury, FP&A, internal audit, risk management and tax. The successful candidate for this role will bring a track record of delivering outstanding results in a high-growth, high-change environment with a proven ability to effectively motivate, develop and manage a passionate, high-performing team. A minimum of 10+ years experience in finance and accounting along with 6+ years managing an F&A team is required. Experience working in the digital marketing industry or in a private equity environment is highly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish clear guidelines and direct team efforts toward relevant acquisition and expansion plans, with a constant eye toward improving business operations driving efficiency.
- Directly supervise Controller, Technical Accounting Manager, and Senior Tax Accountant, including dedicated time for coaching, counseling, and career development. Build out and lead the finance organization.
- Oversee financial plans and policies, accounting practices and procedure, and the organization's financial relationship with stakeholders to ensure financial and strategic goals are attained.
- Lead and manage budgeting and mid-term business planning for Trader Interactive.
- Deliver accurate and timely preparation of all financial accounts- monthly, quarterly and annually- along with audit / reviews to financial sponsors, management, lenders, and third parties.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with IFRS accounting
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred, CPA ideal
- This is a full-time position located in Gurgaon reporting directly to the CFO in USA.
