Business Planning & Strategy Lead will work closely with the GM & Commercial Leaders for Business Planning & Strategy shaping purposes. It is a unique blend of strategic, projects management and operational responsibilities. The incumbent will play a key role in the launch of new businesses in the country, starting with business case preparation in addition to acting as a significant partner in the development of the existing franchises. Interfacing with the corporate functions, he/she needs to support the development of long range plans and help incubate/evaluate new business and partnership opportunities. The role-holder will also work cross functionally to ensure the strategic and operational plans are delivered, and launches are effectively implemented. - Work closely with the GM and commercial leadership team to scope and drive projects and initiatives which create growth and capitalise on opportunities, competitive intelligence and market dynamics from time to time - Lead the interface with corporate functions to develop strategic and long range plans supporting the assessment of market and industry trends, data gathering & analysis and preparation of plans. - Help operationalise the strategic plan within Country Commercial and manage the delivery of initiatives in collaboration with other business leaders. - Assess value creation potential of business development opportunities and prepare commercial justifications, aid franchise heads in business case preparation. - Assess market and industry dynamics ensuring that the leadership team is kept up to date with potential risks / opportunities. - Design and develop presentations for Country GM for various meetings including Regional LT, Global Countries Summit etc and external (e.g. OPPI) as necessary. - Ensure Best-in-Class Product launch readiness and execution Education, Skills & Critical Experiences - MBBS/B.E/B.Tech + MBA from reputed schools with 5-10 years of relevant experience - Demonstrated experience within a commercial organization with a complex operating model - Track record of strategic and operational planning in a high growth environment - Ability to multi-task across a diverse and rapidly changing spectrum of tasks; delivering projects across several streams, timelines and within a matrix structure - Ability to think strategically and conceptually backed by strong execution - Exceptional process and project management skills - Strong executive presence, excellent communication and influencing skills - Commercially astute, proactive and self-starter - Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills - Experience in healthcare will be preferred The contract will be valid for 12 months and will be on third party payroll.
