We are seeking a highly driven and experienced National Sales Head to lead our nationwide sales operations. Based in Nagpur, this leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage large sales teams, develop impactful sales strategies, and drive revenue growth across regions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market dynamics, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for building high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecast and set quarterly and annual sales targets for regional teams
- Identify new market opportunities and areas for expansion across India
- Lead, mentor, and manage a pan-India sales team, ensuring high morale, productivity, and alignment with goals
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales personnel in coordination with HR and regional managers
- Set clear KPIs and conduct performance evaluations, coaching team members for continuous improvement
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, channel partners, dealers, and distributors
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty
- Act as the primary escalation point for key customer issues and work towards resolution
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to provide strategic insights to the management team
- Adapt sales tactics to changing industry dynamics, with a special focus on the sanitaryware and tile industry
- Monitor and streamline daily sales operations across zones to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate sales reports, dashboards, and pipeline tracking using CRM tools
- Present regular updates to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives
Key Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in sales management, team leadership, and channel development
- Strong knowledge of sales forecasting, budgeting, and market penetration strategies
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficient in using CRM platforms, sales dashboards, and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to analyze large data sets and translate insights into strategic decisions
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 1014 years of experience in sales management, with at least 35 years in a leadership role
- Experience in managing multi-regional sales teams and scaling operations
- Industry experience in tiles, sanitaryware, or allied construction/building material sectors is a strong plus
