AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: The Equity Research department provides investment research to its retail/institutional clients to take informed investment decisions. The job of the Research Analyst includes building up in-depth financial models, valuing the company with different valuation approaches, initiating new ideas, and maintaining them with regular event/quarterly updates. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: - Identifying the stock, build and maintain earnings, valuation and financial models for various companies under specified sectors. - Collecting and maintaining information/data from various sources (including government websites, industry sources and dealers). Doing ground reality check by interacting with industry associations, retailers, dealers and distributors. - Interaction with the company through conference call, analyst meets, one-on-one meeting and plant visits. - Writing research reports based on the fundamental and financial analysis providing relevant investment recommendations (BUY/SELL/HOLD) to the investors. - Maintain constant coverage of industry-related news, trends, and developments. - Regular interaction with internal advisory team and institutional clients in the form of Presentation on new stock ideas, regular updates on recent developments / quarterly results and discussion on news and its impact. - Provide research support for various fundamental research based investment products TO CONTRIBUTE: - Interact with media and give views on specified sectors and companies under coverage. - Interact and coordinate with in-house content team to create and curate content for website and social media platform. - Contribute to strategy report and other special reports on need basis.
