JOB DESCRIPTION Associate - Program Director's Office Shangrila Corporate Services is looking for an Associate in the Program Director's Office in its Research and Consulting wing. It is a pivotal position that will assist the Program Director in execution of the Business Strategy and Operations at the Research & Consulting Wing. The incumbent must possess strong academic and professional expertise in macroeconomics and public policy as well as strong interpersonal and team management skills. Role and Responsibilities: - The primary role of the incumbent is to assist the Program Director on formulation and implementation of the Business Strategy and Operational objectives for the Research & Consulting division at SCS. - Someone who can work at the intersection of Government and Private Sector and has the expertise of coordinating with various Ministries and advising the Government on their Economic Development, Policy Formulation and navigating through several other problem statements. - Use the expertise of Investment promotion, Capacity Building and think of innovative strategies to apply in different areas of growth. - Support the Program Director on strategic priorities and initiatives; undertake special projects both internal and external. - Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity. - Design and implement effective work-flow management policies; coordinating with multiple stake holders and manage different projects. Background & Experience: - MBA from a Tier 1 college / Advanced Degrees in Macroeconomics or International Trade - 3-5 years of experience in a Think Tank, Public Policy or Consulting Organization. - Good understanding of India's Macro Economic Policy alignment. Understanding of India's cross border trade ecosystem will be a plus. - Experience of working in a Project Management with strong multi-tasking and team management skills. - Demonstrated track record of strategic thinking and integrity.
