SUMMARY

GM – Human Capital & People Practices

Provide leadership and coordination of company Human Resource functions. Develop and implement corporate Human Resource strategy and programs.

Will be based out of NCR and have a matrix reporting structure.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create strategic recruitment and selection plan and adhere to the plan

- Create training and organizational development plan to meet personal, professional, and organizational needs of employees.

- Oversee compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive salary levels. Oversee the design and development of compensation strategy and programs.

- Develop and coordinate grievances and mediate workplace disputes.

- Evaluate procedures and technology solutions to improve human resources data management.

- Recommend and maintain an organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives.

- Evaluate culture and provide recommendations on changes to accomplish company goals and objectives.

- Develop and manage annual budgets for the department and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses.

- Recommend and establish company policies and procedures.

- Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

- Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of bulk and niche recruiting, negotiating, and change management.

- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment, laws and regulations.

- Ability to interpret and advice on the application of HR related laws.

- Ability to analyze and assess training and development needs.

- Knowledge of organizational development and practices.

- Experience in design, development and implementation of salary administration plans and benefit programs.

- Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Knowledge of computerized information systems used in human resources applications.

- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Masters Degree in Human Resources and at least ten years of experience in a senior-level Human Resource position.

Should have worked in a manpower intensive industry (preferably manufacturing) in a matrix reporting structure.
