Role : Senior Analyst - Equity Research (Pharma and Biotech) Location : Pune Roles &amp; Responsibilities : - Compiling end-to-end Sell-side equity research reports (initiation of coverage, updates, IPO notes etc.) on European pharmaceutical and biotechnology names assigned by the client - Building/maintaining comprehensive financial models that involve detailed drivers-based forecasts on revenue and forecasts on financial statements including P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow statements - Creating/maintaining relevant charts/tables and adhering to client styling and formatting requirements on the same - Writing in-depth equity research reports that has detailed commentary on investment case points, valuation, model assumptions and forecasts, among others - Writing time-sensitive earnings/event updates on companies under coverage, while maintaining the accuracy and relevance of data presented - Pro-actively tracking on a daily basis any news/stock price spikes on stocks under coverage and flagging to the client when any relevant news/event is identified - Conducting deep-dive competitive analysis and industry research on trends in certain therapeutic areas/indications etc. and presenting the output in client-ready format - Regularly and pro-actively communicating with the client/in-house project manager on project updates and be up-to-date with events in the sector and companies under coverage - Maintaining a task list of ongoing/pending tasks on a regular basis, and finalizing task priorities with the client-side analyst, and separately, with the in-house project manager as well - Ensuring that the tasks assigned are completed within the deadline, and delivering top quality output backed by a thorough, self-driven quality-check process - Writing precise emails to the client whenever required and maintaining transparent communication at all times with the client/in-house project manager - Working on various other projects and ad-hoc projects as and when required to ensure maximum utilization
