Competencies/Skills required - Excellent communication skills with seniors, peers, functional teams, external stakeholders - Strong people management skills with both internal and external stakeholders - High on energy and motivated to perform excellently - Curiosity, aptitude and attitude to learn - Integrity and ethical focus - Willingness to take additional responsibilities - Good computer skills including knowledge of accounting systems preferably an erp, and Microsoft office suite Key Responsibilities- Finance - Responsible for GL accounting and financial reporting, AR, AP, day to day banking, internal controls, establishment expenses and employee claims - Manage month-end closing & publish timely monthly financial statements. - Manage year-end closing & prepare for and coordinate with auditors for timely completion of audits. - Coordinate the preparation & filing of regulatory reports and tax returns and assessments. - Research technical accounting issues for compliance. - Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. - Develop & implement business processes and accounting policies to maintain & strengthen internal controls. - Responsible for timely & accurate billing and take full control of collections. - Responsible for preparation of the business plan, budgets and forecasts, budgetary controls and report variances. Developing scenarios to enable decision making. - Responsible for educating & encouraging a culture of financial prudence through the Organization. - Co-ordinate with external experts wherever necessary for ensuring all of the above. - Accounting and overall management of Foreign subsidiaries - Treasury Management and dealings with banks for Forward / Option Contracts - Lead, maintain and nurture a team of accountants Qualifications & Experience Requirements - CA with at least 6-8 years post qualification experience. - Strong accounting and audit experience - Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close and audit process. - Experience in revenue assurance including billing and collections - Candidates with experience in and strong industry knowledge of KPO / IT / BPO would be preferred. - Should have hands-on experience on end-to-end accounting
