Location: Pune

Experience: 5-10 years

Your tasks :

- Tracking the technology sector and stocks assigned by client, updating client with news and events. Preferred areas of coverage - semiconductors, payment companies, IT/ITeS, software, cloud and IT security

- Regularly communicating with the in-house analyst/senior analyst on project updates and be up-to-date with sector happenings

- Supporting the client analyst/senior analysts on various ad hoc tasks, which could vary from data gathering, populating data in financial models, preparing sections of reports, ratio calculation and analysis, deep-dive secondary research to populate industry/company presentations, etc.

- Experience in working on various type of assignments, from quick-and-dirty models to sophisticated initiation coverage models, and quarterly reports to sector reports

- Maintaining a task list of ongoing/pending tasks on a regular basis, and finalizing task priorities with the analyst/senior analyst

- Ensuring that the tasks assigned are completed within the deadline, and ensuring top quality output with a thoroughly conducted self-driven quality-check process

- Maintain flexibility to learn new techniques and functionalities, and gain exposure to various types of assignments

- Contributing to internal knowledge creation and ad hoc assignments

Your profile:

1.Experience in covering technology stocks is an absolute must.

2.Preferred areas of coverage - semiconductors, payment companies, IT/ITeS, software, cloud and IT security

3. Excellent research and writing skills are a must. Candidate should be able to do deep-dive secondary research on any topic given to them.

4. Writing experience is required along with modeling.

5. Preference for EXTC/software engineering background
