Head of Product - Sequoia Portfolio Company

We are looking for an experienced product manager with expertise and passion to imagine, build and manage an innovative product. You will work closely with the Founder/s and own the full product lifecycle from customer feedback and research, product strategy, requirements development, roadmap prioritisation, development, measurement of adoption, metrics and iteration.

This role will require strong leadership skills and interaction / influence with teams across the company to drive the development of our product. The ideal candidate will be curious, have strong attention to detail, be motivated/energised by a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, be comfortable thinking big while also diving deep, will have high judgement and comfort managing senior stakeholders.

Responsibility:

- Set product strategy and vision

- Define product requirement; Write product development briefs to outline requirements

- Work with product development teams to deliver effectively to the market

- Manage prioritisation and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load

- Partner closely with Business Leader, Customer Service, Operational, Legal, Compliance and Finance teams to ensure alignment with product goals

- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

- Work to constantly improve our product; Continually improve the customer experience throughout the entire customer journey

Experience Required:

- Prior relevant work experience in product management in a fast-moving environment

- Experience in developing and evolving products; A record of successful product delivery

- Prior experience in building products from scratch - have seen 0-1 journey of product development and taking it to the market and be part of the growth journey with a venture

- Proven track record of customer obsession

- Experience working closely with software and UX teams to imagine, scope, and build customer complex products; Demonstrated ability to weigh product trade-offs especially in an ambiguous environment

- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence people and teams at every level in the organisation

- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results

- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
