SEO Head - Media Tech Startup (5-9 yrs)
The hiring organisation is India's only media technology company that has the ability to create content, in multiple languages, using an AI-powered engine. They are solving the biggest problem engulfing the media market: producing good quality content, across media formats, with minimal human intervention.
They are an amalgamation of two companies, one consumer-facing media platform leveraging the content engine to produce content and the other a B2B technology company helping companies to create content by licensing its technology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
- Conduct keyword research to guide content teams
- Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
- Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy
- Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
- Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
- Work with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns
- Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends
Requirements:
- Proven experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
- Experience with SEO reporting
- Familiarity with relevant web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Business or related field
