About Role:
- Sentieo is seeking a full-time Lead UI/UX Engineer who can pick up the designer's output and bring life to it. Our product is used to make investment decisions where billions of dollars are at stake; you will have a great deal of input and responsibility.
- You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
- As a Lead UI/UX Engineer, you should be an absolute pro with the comfortable with HTML, JavaScript, most modern CSS techniques, and front-end frameworks such as React and Node.js. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.
- If you're familiar with Agile methodologies and energetic, with a 'roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes- attitude, we- d like to meet with you.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan the layout of the website
- Implement complex user interactions for all of our web-based product interfaces
- Strong individual contribution as a developer writing high-quality programs
- Ensure engineering excellence and rigor in architecture, execution, and delivery
- Interact with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to spec, build, test and deploy new features
- Attract and retain top engineering talent. Mentor and develop leaders within your team
Who Should Apply :
- 4-7 years of relevant experience with complex interfaces built within React ecosystem is required
- In-depth knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, React, jQuery, and CSS is an essential
- Experience with styled-components with a sound understanding of key design principles
- Comfortable with CSS guidelines, CSS mixings and able to write sane, manageable, & scalable CSS
- Knowledge of storybook is a plus
- Experience with design systems and BEM methodology
- Comfortable implementing themes across a very large web application
- Love the end-to-end product journey from understanding customer needs; to developing code; to building a great UI & UX for the final product
- Worked in teams with agile, iterative development practices and code reviews
