Responsibilities:- You'll work with each functional area to solve problems and ensure the business is firing on all cylinders. Build a team of strategically-minded business analysts who will be aligned with different functional teams (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, etc.) and serve as thought partners to the business to solve problems and hold the teams accountable to key metrics. The kind of problems you will be expected to solve:- 1. Finding the types of customers that have the highest conversion rate. 2. Defining and finding sticky features that drive product usage. 3. Establishing sales forecasts using historical data and bottoms up account planning. 4. Setting up dashboards and reporting for the executive team and investors to have a view into the business. 5. What attributes cause sales people to have greater success in closing a deal. While this is intended to be a managerial role, we are a start-up and everyone is expected to get their hands dirty working with data, customers, and the product to ensure the success of the enterprise. This is an entrepreneurial role, where you will be expected to find problems yourself and figure out how to solve them. You will wear a lot of hats, from product manager, to analyst, to team leader. In the process, you will learn a lot about how to effectively operate a technology product-oriented business. - Ensure efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones. - Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues. - Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and adapting to competing demands. - Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process; Assess business process and system inefficiencies. Requirements:- - Undergraduate degree from top tier university, BS in Engineering, Computer Science or Math a plus. - MBA from top tier program strongly preferred (not necessary if you can convince us why you don't need it). - 3-6 years of general work experience. Experience at a strategy consulting firm, investment bank, and/or operating experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or consumer internet highly preferred. - Should have managed a small team of 2-3 people. - Strong analytical skills (Excel skills required, SQL preferable). - Great writing and communication skills (English). - Humility (this is one of our core values, check your ego at the door). - Willingness to get your hands dirty (this role runs the gamut and you will be working on everything and anything to improve the business).
